March 1st: Dutch Cloud speaking at IBM's Pulse 2011
Las Vegas, Nevada, USADutch Cloud's Executive, Martijn van Zoeren was one of the speakers during IBM's yearly Service Management Congres, Pulse 2011! The presentation was about "How to optimize the use of Cloud Computing, without losing Control" and Martijn touched down on the practical issues around implementing Cloud Computing Solutions. One of the statements Martijn also made, was that customers should be able to influence the Cloud implementation "behind the boundary". "Customers need to get the opportunity to decide which architecture and security level will be applicable for them. That's how a Private Cloud should be provided to Enterprise customers!"
Beside speaking at Pulse, it was also very interesting to see all new initiatives in the Service Management area as well as new Tivoli products to be announced by IBM. Dutch Cloud was one of the VIP Customers and it was a very welcome opportunity to meet-up again with IBM Executives and in order to share both Cloud Strategy and defined next steps for 2011.
